Our Special Olympics team competed in the Track & Field event in Harrison on Friday; our students did so well and brought home some gold medals!! Go Tigers!
Landon Jones won 1st place in the softball throw and 50 meter run. Alina Parker placed 1st in the standing long jump and 3rd place in the 50 meter run. Xzavier Holt placed 1st in the 50 meter run and 1st place in the tennis ball throw. Gavin Dykema placed 1st in the 50 meter run and in the standing long jump.

Our archery teams attended the State 3D Tournament in Pangburn, AR over the weekend and competed very well. Congratulations to Travis Cook for winning 1st place in the Middle School Boys Division! Congratulations to Hunter Ricketts for finishing runner up in the High School Boys Division!
Elementary placed 4th overall as a team. Kobe Hudson shot a 247 and placed 4th overall in the Elementary Boys Division. Travis Cook shot a 279 and placed 1st in the Middle School Boys Division. High School placed 3rd overall as a team. Hunter Ricketts shot a 284 and placed 2nd in the High School Boys Division.

Mrs. Mistler’s class has been hard at work learning about weathering and erosion. Last week they practiced reading a readers theatre!
Averi Smith and Kennedy Hudson spent the weekend at the Arkansas Elite Barrel Racing Finals in Fort Smith, AR. It was very competitive and both girls competed well!
Averi placed 3rd in 4D in Open Round 1; 1st place in 4D Juniors in Final Round; and 10th place in 4D Open Final Round for total of $1,706 in earnings. Kennedy finished 2nd place in 5D and 8th place in 4D for a total of $1,213 in earnings for the weekend. Great job, girls!!
